CD Jewel Cases and Some Tips That You Can Use

So are you looking at a variety of different styles of the basic CD storage rack for your home? If so, that's a great thing because they really do help you organize and protect the rather considerable investment that you have in your CD collection. They do a much better job of protecting your items than CD Jewel Cases do for instance. I'm not a very organized person myself but my girlfriend is and when we moved in she present me with two racks that I had to figure out how to mount and use. I found out a couple things that I wanted to share with you.

So when you think of CD storage cabinets does the idea of metal CD storage cabinets that look like a foot locker come to mind? I hope not because there's actually many more options out there than just that. In fact large hand made oak, pine or other hardwood CD storage cabinets are often the most common. Unfortunately it's as if many people don't even know that they exist. Some know that they store CD Jewel Cases but that's really about it beleive it or not. In fact, you can get them absolutely customized and make them totally unique to yourself and your house.

CD storage cabinets come made with several optional door styles that you can use. Of course, you want a selection when it comes to door styles because CD storage cabinets should function as a piece of functional furniture. That means that you should not get CD storage cabinets that have doors which will swing or open into existing doorways, or hit other things such as walls and speakers when they do open. The rule here is to consider your room's layout before committing to a purchase.

You can find a variety of options out there that will assist you in not only achieving your goal of organization, but of protection as well. The standard wall mounted hanging CD rack will help you organize your collection, but it will do very little to protect it as well. For those purposes, you will want to navigated your browsing eyes to something more substantial. There are a huge variety of CD storage cabinets that would be absolutely perfect for not only organizing your digital media, but keep it safe and protected as well.

If you are mounting the rack, this will be important for you to read. It's really important that you don't put your racks above eye level. I learned this the hard way as well. If you mount them too high, it becomes hard for guests, or shorter people in your family to not only get them out of the rack, but even browse the titles. I had my lovely girlfriend at the time begin to climb the rack I had installed because I put it up at my eye level which was far too high for her to reach. So mount it lower than you might otherwise would if you have guests over regularly or shorter people in your family.
